The Philippine Semiconductor and Electronics Industry
73% of Semiconductor Manufacturing Services (SMS) and 27% of Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) come from the Philippine semiconductor and electronics industry, making it an important contributor to the country’s manufacturing and export economy. Major industry hubs include Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Northern and Central Luzon and Cebu.
Supported by an established ecosystem and skilled workforce, the industry offers diverse manufacturing capabilities, including IC packaging, PCB assembly and full
product assembly.
In 2025, the Philippines’ electronics exports amounted to approximately US$49.64 billion, accounting for 58.81% of total Philippine exports. Major export markets
included Hong Kong, the United States, China, Japan and Singapore.
