The Philippine Semiconductor and Electronics Convention and Exhibition (PSECE) is the biggest annual event of its kind in the Philippines. With over 320 participating local and international companies and over 6,000 delegates expected, the PSECE continues to embody the significance of the Semiconductor & Electronics industry to the Philippines.
The Philippines Semiconductor and Electronics Industry
The Philippines Electronics Industry is classified into 73% Semiconductor Manufacturing Services (SMS) and 27% Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS). Most of the electronics businesses in the country operate in 4 key areas: Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Northern/Central Luzon and Cebu. Electronic companies in the country practise the best-known methods in manufacturing with capabilities ranging from IC packaging, PCB Assembly and Full Product Assembly.
In 2024, total electronics exports reached US$ 42.74 billion, or 58.38% of the total Philippines exports. In May 2025, total electronics exports were US$4.18 billion. January to May 2025 total electronics exports were US$19.36 billion, increased 1.44% from US$19.08 billion in the same period in 2024. Top 5 export destinations in May 2025 were Hong Kong (21.66%), the USA (14.40%), China (8.57%), Singapore (6.34%), and Japan (6.27%).
